Service Cost & Oil Change

Hi Guys

Due a service on the VXR soon, was serviced when i got it at 2.5 years old so I guess this will be its 3rd or 4th year? How much should I expcect to pay? Wont need air filter as my CDTI box has a pipercorss filter.

Also read before on AON (dont shoot me ) and VXRO that oil change on a VXR should be done more often than a year?

Wouldn't know m8 ive never once had any work done at a dealer I take it you was talking about a dealer wasnt you ?

And ye I like to do mine every 6 months at the very max or every 6 thousand miles but the more oil changes the better imo

Only ever had my SRI serviced at the dealer, and this one has VX service history upto now so only really considered having it done there, dont really know any good places locally I could ask to service it other than VX, and looks like I will get my oil changed more often from now on

Oil change every 8k for me since ive had it.. Unsure on dealer prices though

I tend to do mine every 6 months or every 8k whatever comes first really. It shouldn't be too expensive to do, not exactly a huge amount of work for them
