Cruise Control Dash light

Hi,

I just had cruise control fitted on my 2011 Zafira exclusiv model by a Vauxhall specialist.

However, there is no light on the dash when cruise control is on.

He told me that he did check this but because this car didn't come with cruise control out of the factory they didn't put a light for it.

Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

Also when I turn the ignition and all dash lights come on briefly, I do not see a cruise control light there.

Yes thats correct, when had fitted to my astra had same no dash light

The same result when I retrofitted my cruise control - fuction is fully operational itself, but no light on dashboard, when acive.

If you really wont showing it swap clocks,
I had to do it anyway as park pilot wasn't working with mine clocks but after I swapped them to compatible ones got pdc working aswell cruise light showing

Hi,

So, how it's with swapping clocks in Zafira A ?
Do I need to log off old ones from ECU and log new ones in?
I have also Corsa D and there you can't just swap the clocks - you need to log them off and log new ones in.

Why don't you consider adding some flair to your dash by installing a custom LED light to indicate cruise control activation? It's a simple DIY project that can add a touch of uniqueness to your ride.
