Retrofitting a couple of thngs, any help apprecaited.

I'd like to retrofit 2 things, and would love some help on them please.


1. I have AFL's and want the auto wipers and auto lights on, I've sourced a mirror, and I've sourced the relevant AFL Auto light switch. I know I need the rain sensor or get a new screen with it attached. What else do I need any guides or diagrams and part numbers please?

2. Could you list the parts listed for TPMS and what the cost will be?

What ident abs pump you got as there few what supports tmps and they are expensive if you going to replace

You got auto dimming mirror? There is light sensor where 7s speaker goes in centre of dash

How will I know where to look for the ABS ? And the ident?

I acquired an auto dim mirror just before Christmas.
So on the screen they'll be the rainsensor and on the dash they'll be a light sensor?


What parts do I need? As I said acquired an afl auto switch brand new as they're hard to come by it seems.

if you look at abs pump you will see a big sticker with 2 letters that is ident

Sorry bit confused you, rain and light sensor is one unit in mk5, been working on vw b6 and it has it in dash that could be a reason

Parts needed :

Rain Sensor, which is also a light sensor.
Auto Light Switch
Auto Dimming Mirror
and screen to mount it properly
About 1-2 hour wiring to the UEC and tech2 than its sorted

Do I need a custom loom or can I get one already made up from somewhere? Any guides?

The screen I need to replace mine anyway so I'll just get the screen&sensor attached one already and looking for a wire.

Just wondered do I need to wire the auto mirror to the lights above or should there be the cabling already?

They will need 3 wires wiring up rain/light sensor and you can extend them to mirror
Looking in wiring that's a separate loom for them don't think it will be present
