Gid retrofit help

Hi guys
I have tried retrofitting a gid to my corsa d. got both gid and cd30 mp3 into delivery state and then programmed my security code.
All works fine untill I next turn on the car then gid in flashes safe mode.
All accessories match in all units.
Any ideas as i'm pulling my hair out.

Have you add extra power and ground lines that gid needs to display connector ?

No, forgive my ignorance but I assumed connector wise it would be the same wiring. do you have any diagrams for this?

If you look at the display connector.
Have you wires on pins 2 and 3?

Pin 1 being on far left

Pin 1 and 2 , black wires,pin 3 and 5 red/yellow wires, all as they should be.

disconnected the battery for 30 mins today still flashing display safe

It is possible that radio or display is faulty.
